Kapama Karula has twelve superior luxury villas, each exquisitely decorated with generous private space, each with a private outside deck and a large swimming pool, which is heated in the chillier months for year-round swimming.
Two of the superior luxury villas are purpose-built for families. The open plan lounge and bar area, with floor to ceiling glass doors, illustrates the perfect balance with elegant light colours.
The award-winning on-site Karula Spa & Wellness Centre offers a range of fitness equipment as well as health and beauty treatments in four deluxe treatment rooms.

The Knowledge of the tracker (Donald) and our guide (Helen) was exceptional and they ensured we were able to see everything. We seen leopards, cheetahs and lions. You stop for a morning coffee out in the bush and sundowners in the evening, this was also excellently organised. The rooms are absolutely stunning with the biggest mini bar I’ve ever seen. The drink options are fantastic. Super comfortable rooms and luxurious. Food was superb. Each evening there was a different location for dinner excellently curated by the team at the hotel, with food prepared to a very high standard. We also used the gym facilities which were great. The service and operational standards at this hotel are exceptional. I would 100% stay at this lodge again it was such an incredible experience

From the vanilla scented towels, to the delicious food, exciting game drives and phenomenal staff, our stay at Shiduli was magical from the second we arrived and lives in our hearts long after we left.
Your helpful staff greeted us as we arrived and and were with us every step of the way... literally. We were escorted to our private villa by Gary, who my children absolutely adored. Richard, in the bar was on form and Gogo Dorris had faith that we would see lions... which we did.
Thandy and Karen were friendly, professional and made us feel like old friends. We will definitely be back and will bring our friends and family so they can share in this beautiful gem.

The spacious Suites at Kapama Karula are each luxuriously decorated and boast an outside deck area with heated swimming pool and sun loungers. They feature a full private bathroom as well as an outdoor shower. There is a stocked minibar and a Nespresso coffee machine. For guest comfort and convenience, the suites also offer a telephone, an iPod docking station, an overhead fan and air conditioning. Each suite also comes with a seating area and a gas-heated fireplace. The family suites have a open plan living area, a master bedroom as well as children's bedroom.
Enjoy something refreshing from your minibar while lazing around in your heated pool or relaxing on the patio. After a day in the bush, you can take a spectacular shower under the stars in your outdoor shower or, if the weather’s a bit chillier, cuddle up in your opulent villa while sipping champagne or any of our selection of fine wines available to you. Aircon in the suites ensures you’ll always be comfortable and a Nespresso coffee machine means you can wake up to the smell of your favourite roast, warm and aromatic.
Karula’s superior family villas have expansive open-plan living rooms. Grab yourself something to drink from the minibar, or choose something more indulgent from our selection of fine wines and champagne. Open the floor-to-ceiling doors and you can step out onto your private deck, then take a dip in your heated swimming pool or relax in a lounger as you take in the views.
Each bedroom is en-suite and spacious enough to offer privacy. If you’re travelling with the kids, you’ll be glad to know the second bedroom is equipped with a flat-screen TV, a selection of movies and a Wii game console. Aircon in the suites ensures you’ll always be comfortable and a Nespresso coffee machine means you can wake up to the smell of your favourite roast, warm and aromatic. For peace of mind, we’ve provided a lock-up safe for your valuables, and the suites are equipped with tech creature comforts – wi-fi and international adapters for your convenience.
