Singita Sabi Sand has been owned by the Bailes family who have acted as the dedicated custodians of this precious part of South Africa’s natural heritage since 1926. This is the ultimate luxury safari experience in the Sabi Sands game reserve. Accommodation at Singita Sabi Sands is offered in three luxurious lodges, Ebony Lodge, Boulders Lodge & Castleton Camp. Singita is the Shangaan word for ‘Place of Miracles’.
In the spirit of miracles, Singita’s enduring purpose is to conserve, preserve, and protect the miraculous places of which they are custodians. Singita's private concessions, wildlife reserves, and properties represent some of the most pristine wilderness areas on the African continent and they are dedicated to maintaining these incredible pieces of earth for future generations.

Game Drives at Singita Sabi Sands
Daily game drives with professional guides and trackers provide the perfect opportunity to get up close to Africa’s incredible animals, while evening drives reveal the elusive magic of nocturnal Africa. Our game drives are all conducted in state-of-the-art Land Rovers, each accommodating a maximum of six guests.
During your stay at Singita Sabi Sands, you are likely to spot a great variety of wildlife, including species such as leopard, lion, rhino, large herds of buffalo, elephant, reedbuck, hyena, hippopotamus, nyala, cheetah, wild dogs and many types of birds.

A private gym at Singita Castleton is the perfect way for guests to keep up with their exercise regime while on holiday. The facility provides picturesque views of the bush, allowing you to keep an eye on the action outside while you work out on state of the art equipment.
Other Activities at Singita Sabi Sands
Walking safaris are an incredible way to experience the bush up close and personal. Your expert guide and tracker will accompany you as you track animals on foot through the wilderness and explore the magnificent plants and landscapes around you. We suggest a minimum age of 15 years for this activity, but participation is at the discretion of your Field Guide.
For the adventurous guest, a mountain bike ride through the reserve just can’t be beat. Your guide and tracker will accompany you as you explore the vast beauty of this rugged landscape. Mountain bikes and helmets are provided.
Stargazing: There is perhaps no more transcendent experience than looking up at a full sky of sparkling stars. Man has had a love affair with the night-time sky for centuries and with very little pollution and no city lights to detract for the stars, your view of the heavens here will be crystal clear, nothing between you and the vast African sky above.

From the vanilla scented towels, to the delicious food, exciting game drives and phenomenal staff, our stay at Shiduli was magical from the second we arrived and lives in our hearts long after we left.
Your helpful staff greeted us as we arrived and and were with us every step of the way... literally. We were escorted to our private villa by Gary, who my children absolutely adored. Richard, in the bar was on form and Gogo Dorris had faith that we would see lions... which we did.
Thandy and Karen were friendly, professional and made us feel like old friends. We will definitely be back and will bring our friends and family so they can share in this beautiful gem.

We’ve have just come back from a 3 night stay at earth lodge. One word incredible. We got to see the big 5 and a lot more animals. The game drives were amazing. The Knowledge of the tracker (Donald) and our guide (Helen) was exceptional and they ensured we were able to see everything. We seen leopards, cheetahs and lions. You stop for a morning coffee out in the bush and sundowners in the evening, this was also excellently organised. The rooms are absolutely stunning with the biggest mini bar I’ve ever seen. The drink options are fantastic. Super comfortable rooms and luxurious. Food was superb. Each evening there was a different location for dinner excellently curated by the team at the hotel, with food prepared to a very high standard. We also used the gym facilities which were great. The service and operational standards at this hotel are exceptional. I would 100% stay at this lodge again it was such an incredible experience
