Londolozi Pioneer Camp is set amongst the dappled shade of 500-year-old ebony trees, Pioneer Camp’s three luxury suites and generous ‘bush home’ style of common area is the culmination of four decades of design experience in the safari industry.

Pioneer Camp is the most secluded of Londolozi’s camps. The three private suites have superb river views and are perfect for honeymoons and private getaways. Focused on multi-generational family travel, this adaptable camp can be converted into a private bush home for family groups of 6-12 people. Glass sky walkways link interconnected luxury family suites.

Londolozi Pioneer Camp is defined by its clean lines and the modern and sophisticated floor-to-ceiling sliding glass panels that frame the wilderness views beyond. A sense of history pervades the camp through faithfully restored memorabilia: photographs, silver, crystal glass and gramophones.

We’ve have just come back from a 3 night stay at earth lodge. One word incredible. We got to see the big 5 and a lot more animals. The game drives were amazing. The Knowledge of the tracker (Donald) and our guide (Helen) was exceptional and they ensured we were able to see everything. We seen leopards, cheetahs and lions. You stop for a morning coffee out in the bush and sundowners in the evening, this was also excellently organised. The rooms are absolutely stunning with the biggest mini bar I’ve ever seen. The drink options are fantastic. Super comfortable rooms and luxurious. Food was superb. Each evening there was a different location for dinner excellently curated by the team at the hotel, with food prepared to a very high standard. We also used the gym facilities which were great. The service and operational standards at this hotel are exceptional. I would 100% stay at this lodge again it was such an incredible experience

Our experience was perfect from start to finish. Booking the experience through Andy set the tone for the stress-free bush experience.

From the vanilla scented towels, to the delicious food, exciting game drives and phenomenal staff, our stay at Shiduli was magical from the second we arrived and lives in our hearts long after we left.

Your helpful staff greeted us as we arrived and and were with us every step of the way... literally. We were escorted to our private villa by Gary, who my children absolutely adored. Richard, in the bar was on form and Gogo Dorris had faith that we would see lions... which we did.

Thandy and Karen were friendly, professional and made us feel like old friends. We will definitely be back and will bring our friends and family so they can share in this beautiful gem.

Londolozi Pioneer Camp is a bushveld style safari camp. It features three exclusive suites, all with fireplaces and air conditioning, personalised room service, en-suite bathrooms, lap pools, and outdoor showers. Pio0neer Camp is the most secluded of all Londolozi’s luxury camps and is perfect for couples, or family groups up to 12 people.
No two days are the same at Londolozi and the wildlife experience is tailored to suit individual preferences and expectations. Londolozi is situated on the Sand River in the very heart of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Wild animals move freely across this vast space, offering spectacular game viewing and a true wilderness experience. Breeding herds of elephant and buffalo roam throughout Londolozi, while white rhino and lion concentrations are among the highest recorded on the African continent. Yet it’s the leopards of Londolozi that make it world famous for wildlife, and lie at the heart of the Londolozi feeling.  Intimate leopard sightings are frequent here, an experience that our guests agree is a pinnacle life experience.
Londolozi's Pioneer Camp accommodates children 6 years and older. Children 6 – 11 years sharing with two adults, each pay 50% of adult rate. Children 12 or older will pay adult rates.
BY AIR: • O R Tambo Johannesburg International - Skukuza • Cape Town International - Skukuza Federal Air operates a daily flight from Johannesburg International Airport to Londolozi Airstrip, which is a five-minute drive from the camp. CHARTER FLIGHTS: • Private charters on request • Helicopter transfers on request • PRIVATELY OWNED AIRCRAFT: • Indemnity Form to be completed prior to arrival. • Transfers to lodge are available BY ROAD: • From Johannesburg, take the N12 / N4 to Nelspruit, and then the R40 from Nelspruit to Hazyview • Get onto the R536 towards Paul Kruger Gate. After 37kms, turn left onto a gravel road, which is 1km past the Lisbon store • Enter the gate to the Sabi Sands Reserve • Follow the signs to Londolozi (approximately 28kms) • At present the rate for entrance is R160.00 per vehicle and R40 per person. The entrance fee can only be confirmed at the time of making your reservation (Prices subject to change) GPS: -24.7972 (latitude), 31.4955 (longitude)
